Daudi Simba is a medical doctor qualified as a specialist in Community Health. He completed his PhD at Karoliska University Sweden in 2010. Currently he is working as Associate Professor at the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

He has worked with DANIDA as a Technical and Training Officer for Health Management Information System (1993-1998) also with Ministry of Health as Public Health Specialist in the Planning and Policy development, health information and research section (1998- 2001).

 

He served as the Chairman of the Tanzania Public Health Association (2004-2007) and Chairman of the Committee for the Control of Tobacco Use in Tanzania (2006 -2008). His areas of interest are Health Systems Research, in particular, management of health care services, health management information system and monitoring and evaluation of health care interventions.
